Play House Preschool was founded on December 8, 1992 by Ma. Elena Zaldarriaga, or “Tita Allen” to all. The school was first located in Paradise Village in Banilad, Cebu City. Children always came excited to learn; they were happy with Tita Allen’s caring approach to learning.

Parents loved the Play House culture of care, learning and fun that they began requesting for higher levels. Eventually, the curriculum was expanded to include Grade School and High School education.

B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy was born. B.R.I.G.H.T. stands for Balanced, Respectful, Intelligent, God-loving, Happy and Talented children. In 1995, Play House transferred to Ma. Luisa Road to address the increasing number of students.

At present, Play House Preschool and B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy are situated at a sprawling campus along Gov. Cuenco Avenue in Banilad and has added Senior High School to its curriculum offerings. A happy, caring school with hundreds of students coming from 25 different countries, Play House Preschool and B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy are committed to the pursuit of Balanced and Positive Education.
